Filter decanters:
In the absence of up to three days, place the entire filter decanter filled with water in the refrigerator.
If the filter decanter is not used for more than three days, remove all the water and ensure that all parts of the housing are dry.
The filter cartridge can be stored damp as it is, protected by plastic film or box, in the refrigerator at 5 degrees.
The filter must not freeze under any circumstances, otherwise it is defective!
If you are absent for more than 3 weeks, we recommend that you do not use the filter cartridge any longer and replace it.
When the filter cartridge is put back into operation, proceed in the same way as for a new installation. The lime filter pad should also be replaced after a longer absence.
Free-standing units:
If the water filter system is not used for more than 3 days, please remove all water from the system and ensure that all housing parts, ceramic filters and stones are exposed and can dry.
The Premium and Advanced filter cartridges can be stored damp as they are, protected by household foil or box, in the refrigerator at 5 degrees Celsius.
The filter must not freeze under any circumstances, otherwise it is defective!
If you are absent for more than 3 weeks, we recommend that you stop using the filter cartridge and replace it.
When the filter cartridge is put back into operation, proceed in the same way as for a new installation. Please filter approx. 8 litres of water and give it to the flowers etc. Afterwards the water should taste as good as usual.
The lime filter pad should also be replaced after a longer absence.
